The issue
Issue: Certain motorhomes were built with an incorrectly sized circuit breaker for the microwave circuit. A 20-A circuit breaker was installed instead of a 15-A circuit breaker. Under certain conditions, the wiring could overheat and melt before the circuit breaker trips. Safety Risk: Wiring that melts or overheats could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: KZ RV will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to replace the 20-A circuit breaker with a 15-A circuit breaker.

Problème Certaines autocaravanes ont été munies lors de leur construction d'un disjoncteur de la mauvaise intensité pour le circuit à micro-ondes. Un disjoncteur de 20 A a été posé au lieu d'un disjoncteur de 15 A. Dans certaines conditions, les fils pourraient surchauffer et fondre avant que le disjoncteur ne se déclenche. Risques pour la sécurité Des fils qui fondent ou surchauffent pourraient causer un risque d'incendie. Mesures correctives La compagnie KZ RV avisera les propriétaires par courrier, et leur demandera d'apporter leur autocaravane chez un concessionnaire pour faire remplacer le disjoncteur de 20 A par un disjoncteur de 15 A.
