The issue

Issue: On certain vehicles equipped with a carbon fiber trunk, the emergency trunk release was not installed inside the trunk. This could prevent a person that is trapped inside the trunk from opening it. Safety Risk: If a person is closed inside the trunk, they may not be able to get out. This could create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Nissan will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to install the trunk release mechanism.

Problème Sur certains véhicules munis d'un coffre en fibre de carbone, le dispositif d'ouverture du coffre en cas d'urgence n'a pas été posé dans le coffre. Cela pourrait empêcher une personne emprisonnée dans le coffre de l'ouvrir. Risques pour la sécurité Si une personne se trouvait dans le coffre fermé, elle pourrait ne pas pouvoir en sortir. Cela pourrait créer un risque de blessure. Mesures correctives Nissan doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur véhicule chez un concessionnaire pour faire poser le dispositif d'ouverture du coffre en cas d'urgence.
