The issue

Issue: On certain motorhomes, the power wire to the radio is too small. As a result, the wiring could overheat and melt. Safety Risk: Wiring that melts or overheats could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Airstream will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to replace the 15-A resettable circuit breaker for the radio with an 8-A resettable circuit breaker.

Problème : Sur certains autocaravanes, le fil d'alimentation de la radio est trop petit. Par conséquent, le câblage pourrait surchauffer et fondre. Risques pour la sécurité : Un câblage qui fond ou surchauffe pourrait créer un risque d'incendie. Mesures correctives : Airstream doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur autocaravanes chez un concessionnaire pour faire remplacer le disjoncteur réarmable de 15 A de la radio par un disjoncteur réarmable de 8 A.
