The issue

Issue: Certain trucks may have been built with rear leaf spring assemblies that could break. If a leaf spring breaks, a piece of the broken spring could detach from the truck while driving. Safety Risk: A leaf spring that detaches from the truck could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mitsubishi Fuso will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealer to replace the rear leaf springs.

Problème : Certains camions pourraient avoir été construits avec des ressorts à lames arrière qui pourraient se rompre. Si un ressort à lames se rompt, une partie du ressort brisé pourrait se détacher du camion en déplacement. Risque pour la sécurité : Un ressort à lames qui se détache du camion pourrait créer un danger pour les autres usagers de la route et augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Mitsubishi Fuso doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur camion chez un concessionnaire pour faire remplacer les ressorts à lames arrière.
