The issue

Issue: On certain motorhomes, some openings in the floor may not be properly sealed. This could allow exhaust gases and carbon monoxide to enter the motorhome. Safety Risk: A build-up of carbon monoxide inside the motorhome could result in asphyxiation or carbon monoxide poisoning. Corrective Actions: REV Group will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer for an inspection. Any openings in the floor will be sealed. The company recommends that you should also check to ensure that the carbon monoxide detector is working properly, and that it has not passed its expiration date.

Problème : Sur certaines autocaravanes, des orifices dans le plancher pourraient ne pas être scellés adéquatement. Ce problème pourrait permettre aux gaz d'échappement et à du monoxyde de carbone de pénétrer dans l'autocaravane. Risques pour la sécurité : Une accumulation de monoxyde de carbone à l'intérieur de l'autocaravane pourrait entraîner une asphyxie ou un empoisonnement au monoxyde de carbone. Mesures correctives : REV Group doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur autocaravane chez un concessionnaire pour une inspection. Tout orifice dans le plancher sera scellé. L'entreprise recommande aux propriétaires de s'assurer que leur détecteur de monoxyde de carbone fonctionne correctement et qu'il n'est pas expiré.
