The issue

Issue: On a small number of motorhomes, the patio awning may not be properly installed. As a result, the awning could detach and fall from the motorhome. Safety Risk: An awning that falls from the motorhome could create a risk of injury. An awning that falls from a moving vehicle could create road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Thor Motor Coach will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to properly attach the awning to the motorhome.

Problème : Sur un petit nombre d'autocaravanes, l'auvent de terrasse pourrait ne pas être installé correctement. Par conséquent, l'auvent pourrait se détacher et tomber de l'autocaravane. Risques pour la sécurité : Un auvent qui se détache de l'autocaravane pourrait créer un risque de blessure. Un auvent qui se détache d'un véhicule en mouvement pourrait créer un danger pour les autres usagers de la route et augmenter les risques de collision. Mesures correctives : Thor Motor Coach doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur autocaravane chez un concessionnaire pour faire fixer correctement l'auvent à l'autocaravane.
