The issue
Issue: On certain Bolt R-Spec motorcycles, engine oil could leak from the base of the engine onto the road. Safety Risk: Engine oil that leaks onto the road could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Action: Yamaha will contact owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to inspect the base of the engine crankcase for an oil leak. If an oil leak is found, the engine assembly will be replaced.

Problème : Sur certaines motocyclettes Bolt R-Spec, il pourrait y avoir une fuite d'huile moteur sur la route à la base du moteur. Risques pour la sécurité : Une fuite d'huile moteur sur la route pourrait entraîner une perte de maîtrise et accroître les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Yamaha doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur motocyclette chez un concessionnaire pour inspecter la base du carter du moteur pour toute fuite d'huile. Si une fuite d'huile est détectée, l'ensemble moteur sera remplacé.
