The issue

Issue: On certain RV trailers, the wire connections on the power transfer switch may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the connections could loosen and create electrical arcing (sparks) or cause wires to overheat. Safety Risk: Overheated wiring or sparks could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Heartland will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to inspect and tighten the wire connections within the transfer switch box, as required.

Problème : Sur certaines remorques, les fils de raccordement sur le commutateur de transfert de courant pourraient ne pas avoir été serrés adéquatement. Ils pourraient donc se desserrer et produire des étincelles ou surchauffer. Risques pour la sécurité : Des étincelles ou des fils surchauffés pourraient causer un incendie. Mesures correctives : Heartland doit aviser les propriétaires par courrier et leur demander d'amener leur remorque chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter et serrer les fils de raccordement dans la boîte du commutateur de transfert de courant au besoin.
