The issue

Issue: On certain motorhomes, the nuts on the bus bar in the DC power distribution panel may not be tightened properly. As a result, the bus bar could overheat and melt other parts. Safety Risk: An overheated or melted electrical panel could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Tiffin will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to inspect and tighten the nuts on the DC power distribution panel. On motorhomes with the optional larger 2000 W inverter, the dealer will also remove the bus bar from the DC power distribution panel, and replace it with a cable.

Problème : Sur certaines autocaravanes, les écrous sur la barre omnibus dans le panneau de distribution de puissance c.c. pourraient être mal serrés. Par conséquent, la barre omnibus pourrait surchauffer et faire fondre d'autres pièces. Risques pour la sécurité : Un panneau électrique chauffé ou fondu pourrait créer un risque d'incendie. Mesures correctives : Tiffin doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur autocaravane chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter et serrer les écrous sur le panneau de distribution de puissance c.c. Sur les autocaravanes équipées du plus grand onduleur optionnel de 2000 W, le concessionnaire doit aussi retirer la barre omnibus du panneau de distribution de puissance c.c. et la remplacer par un câble.
