The issue

Issue: On certain motorcycles, the throttle grip tube can break if it is pulled with too much force. If this happens, the throttle may not rotate smoothly and could stick while you are riding. Safety Risk: A throttle that sticks could cause a loss of control and result in a crash. Corrective Actions: Yamaha will contact owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to inspect the throttle tube and replace the handlebar grip end.

Problème : Sur certaines motocyclettes, le tube de la poignée des gaz peut se briser si on tire sur celui-ci avec trop de force. Si cela se produit, la commande des gaz pourrait ne pas tourner librement et pourrait se coincer pendant la conduite. Risques pour la sécurité : Une commande des gaz qui se coince peut entraîner une perte de contrôle du véhicule et provoquer un accident. Mesures correctives : Yamaha doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur moto chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter la commande des gaz et faire remplacer l'extrémité de la poignée du guidon.
