The issue

Issue: On certain motorcycles, engine vibrations may cause the wiring for the horn to break. If this happens, the horn will not work. Safety Risk: Without a working horn, a rider may not be able to warn of an unsafe situation. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Kawasaki will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to replace the horn, the horn mount bracket, and the horn harness.

Problème : Sur certaines motocyclettes, les vibrations du moteur peuvent provoquer la rupture du câblage du klaxon. Si cela se produit, le klaxon ne fonctionnera pas. Risques pour la sécurité : Sans un klaxon fonctionnel, un conducteur peut ne pas être en mesure de signaler une situation dangereuse. Cela pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Kawasaki doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur motocyclette chez un concessionnaire pour faire remplacer le klaxon, le support de montage du klaxon et modifier le câblage du klaxon.
