The issue

Issue: On certain motorhomes, the wiring under the front seats may not be properly secured. As a result, the wiring could be damaged when the seat is moved. If this happens, the wiring could short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Newmar will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your motorhome to a dealership to inspect the wiring under the front seats. The wiring will be protected and secured, as required. The dealer will also make changes to the circuit protection.

Problème : Sur certaines autocaravanes, le câblage sous les sièges avant pourrait être mal fixé. Par conséquent, le câblage pourrait être endommagé lorsque le siège est déplacé. Si cela se produit, le câblage pourrait subir un court-circuit. Risques pour la sécurité : Un court-circuit pourrait créer un risque d'incendie. Mesures correctives : Newmar doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur autocaravane chez un concessionnaire pour inspecter le câblage sous les sièges avant. Le câblage sera protégé et fixé, selon les besoins. De plus, le concessionnaire apportera des modifications à la protection du circuit.
