The issue

Issue: Certain tires were made without a DOT symbol on the tire. Canadian regulations require tires to be marked with certain information on the sidewall. Note: This recall affects tires within the date code range of 0521 - 2121. Safety Risk: The markings on a tire help you to identify that it is designed for use on public roads. Corrective Actions: Michelin will notify registered owners by mail to advise you of this problem. You should contact an authorized Michelin dealer if you have tires manufactured within this date range or if you need help inspecting them. All tires affected by this recall will be replaced.

Problème : Certains pneus ont été fabriqués sans symbole DOT. La réglementation canadienne exige que les pneus comportent certaines informations sur leur flanc. Remarque : Le présent rappel concerne des pneus dont le code dateur est compris entre 0521 et 2121. Risques pour la sécurité : Les informations sur un pneu aident à déterminer que le pneu est conçu pour être utilisé sur les routes publiques. Mesures correctives : Michelin doit aviser par la poste les propriétaires inscrits pour les informer du problème. Les propriétaires doivent contacter un concessionnaire Michelin autorisé s'ils ont des pneus fabriqués au cours de la période concernée ou s'ils ont besoin d'aide pour faire inspecter leurs pneus. Tous les pneus visés par le présent rappel doivent être remplacés.
