The issue

Issue: One vehicle was equipped with the wrong spare tire. As a result, the antilock brake system (ABS) and/or traction control system (TCS) may not work properly. Safety Risk: An antilock brake system and/or traction control system that does not work properly could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Kia will notify the owner by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealership to replace the spare tire with one of the correct size.

Problème : Un véhicule était équipé du mauvais pneu de secours. Par conséquent, le système de freinage antiblocage (ABS) et/ou le système antipatinage pourraient ne pas fonctionner correctement. Risques pour la sécurité : Un système de freinage antiblocage et/ou un système antipatinage qui ne fonctionnent pas correctement pourraient augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Kia doit aviser le propriétaire par la poste et lui demander d'amener son véhicule chez un concessionnaire pour faire remplacer le pneu de secours par un pneu de la bonne taille.
