The issue

Issue: On certain scooters, the horn mounting screw could loosen and the horn could detach from the frame. If this happens, the horn could interfere with steering and cause a loss of steering control. Safety Risk: A loss of steering control could create a risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: BMW Motorrad will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your scooter to a dealership to replace the horn mounting screw.

Problème : Sur certains scooters, la vis de fixation du klaxon pourrait se desserrer, et le klaxon pourrait se détacher du cadre. Si cela se produisait, le klaxon pourrait interférer avec la direction et causer une perte de contrôle de la direction. Risques pour la sécurité : Une perte de contrôle de la direction pourrait créer un risque d'accident. Mesures correctives : BMW Motorrad doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur scooter chez un concessionnaire pour faire remplacer la vis de fixation du klaxon.
