The issue
Issue: On certain side-by-side UTVs, the bolts for the parking brake lever mounting bracket may not be tightened properly. As a result, the bracket could loosen and cause reduced parking brake performance. Safety Risk: Reduced parking brake performance could increase the risk of a crash or injury. Corrective Actions: Yamaha will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your UTV to a dealer to inspect and, if necessary, tighten the bolts on the parking brake lever bracket.

Problème : Sur certains véhicules utilitaires tout-terrains (VUTT) de type côte à côte, les boulons du support de montage du levier de frein à main pourraient avoir été mal serrés. Par conséquent, le support pourrait se desserrer et causer une réduction de l'efficacité du frein à main. Risques pour la sécurité : Une réduction de l'efficacité du frein à main pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident ou de blessures. Mesures correctives : Yamaha doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur VUTT chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter les boulons touchés et les resserrer, au besoin.
