The issue

Issue: On certain trucks, the tailgate could unlatch and open while driving. If this happens, cargo that is not secured could fall out of the truck bed and onto the road. Safety Risk: Cargo that falls from the truck bed could create a road hazard for others. Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealership to inspect the alignment of the tailgate strikers, and adjust them if necessary.

Problème : Sur certains camions, le hayon pourrait se déverrouiller et s'ouvrir pendant la conduite. Si cela se produisait, les objets non fixés pourraient tomber du camion. Risques pour la sécurité : Des objets qui tombent d'un camion pourraient causer un danger pour les autres usagers de la route. Mesures correctives : FCA Canada doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'apporter leur camion chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter l'alignement des gâches du hayon et les faire ajuster, au besoin.
