The issue

Issue: On certain vehicles, water could leak into the external coolant pump for the climate control system and cause a short circuit. If this happens, the pump and wiring could overheat and melt. Safety Risk: A short circuit can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Bentley will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your vehicle to a dealership to replace the external coolant pump. Additionally, the connections for the pump will be inspected and replaced, if necessary.

Problème : Sur certains véhicules, de l'eau pourrait fuir dans la pompe externe de liquide de refroidissement du système de climatisation et causer un court-circuit. Par conséquent, la pompe et le câblage pourraient surchauffer et fondre. Risques pour la sécurité : Un court-circuit peut créer un risque d'incendie. Mesures correctives : Bentley doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur véhicule chez un concessionnaire pour faire remplacer la pompe. De plus, les connexions de pompe seront inspectées et remplacées, au besoin.
