The issue

Issue: On certain motorhomes, the retractable awning could extend on its own while driving. Safety Risk: An awning that extends while driving could create a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Thor Motor Coach will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development. Thor Motor Coach recommends that you should inspect the awning to ensure it's in the fully retracted position before driving. You should also check it periodically throughout your trip.

Problème : Sur certaines autocaravanes, l'auvent rétractable pourrait se déployer par lui-même durant la conduite. Risques pour la sécurité : Le déploiement d'un auvent pendant la conduite peut poser un danger routier et augmenter le risque d'accident. Mesures correctives : Thor Motor Coach doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste. Les mesures correctives liées au présent rappel sont en cours d'élaboration. Thor Motor Coach recommande aux propriétaires de vérifier si l'auvent est complètement rétracté avant la conduite, ainsi que périodiquement en cours de route.
