The issue
Issue: On certain trucks, the bolts that attach the driveshaft may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the driveshaft could separate from the truck. If this happens, there would be a loss of power to the wheels. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a driveshaft that detaches from a vehicle could create a hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Xos Inc. will notify owners by mail. The driveshaft bolts and related hardware will be replaced at no cost to the owner.

Problème : Sur certains camions, les boulons qui fixent l'arbre de transmission pourraient ne pas avoir été serrés correctement. Par conséquent, l'arbre de transmission pourrait se séparer du véhicule. Si cela se produisait, il pourrait y avoir une perte de puissance aux roues. Risques pour la sécurité : Une perte de puissance aux roues pourrait augmenter les risques d'un accident. De plus, un arbre de transmission qui se détache d'un véhicule pourrait créer un danger pour les autres usagers de la route et augmenter les risques de collision. Mesures correctives : Xos Inc. doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste. Les boulons de l'arbre de transmission et la quincaillerie connexe seront remplacés sans aucun frais aux propriétaires.
