The issue
Issue: On certain vehicles, a wire for the ignition button could be damaged by contact with a steel support bracket. If this happens, the wire could short circuit and cause the vehicle to shift into the Park (P) position while driving. Safety Risk: A vehicle that suddenly shifts to Park while driving could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Morgan Olson will notify the owners by mail and provide instructions for how to install a new wire harness and support bracket.

Problème : Sur certains véhicules, un fil du bouton de démarrage pourrait être endommagé par le contact avec une fixation en acier. Si cela se produisait, le fil pourrait provoquer un court-circuit et le véhicule se pourrait se retrouver à la position de stationnement (Park) pendant la conduite. Risques pour la sécurité : Un changement soudain à la position de stationnement pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Morgan Olson doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et fournir les instructions d'installation du nouveau faisceau de fils et de la nouvelle fixation.
