The issue

Issue: On certain vehicles, fluid could leak onto the printed circuit board for the hydraulic clutch actuator (HCA). If this happens, the circuit board could short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit could create the risk of an engine compartment fire while driving. Corrective Actions: Kia will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the hydraulic clutch actuator (HCA), and replace it if necessary. The technician will also install a new fuse for the HCA to reduce the risk of a fire.

Problème : Sur certains véhicules, il pourrait y avoir une fuite de liquide sur la carte de circuits imprimés de l'actionneur de l'embrayage hydraulique. Si cela se produisait, la carte de circuits imprimés pourrait subir un court-circuit. Risques pour la sécurité : Un court-circuit pourrait créer un risque d'incendie dans le compartiment moteur pendant la conduite. Mesures correctives : Kia doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur véhicule chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter et, au besoin, remplacer l'actionneur de l'embrayage hydraulique. Le technicien doit également installer un nouveau fusible pour l'actionneur de l'embrayage hydraulique afin de réduire le risque d'incendie.
