The issue
Issue: On certain RV trailers, the trim on the front edge of the exterior siding may not be properly attached. As a result, the metal siding could detach from the trailer. Safety Risk: Siding that detaches from the trailer could create a risk of injury. Siding that detaches from a moving vehicle could create road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to inspect the siding, and repair or replace it as necessary.

Problème : Sur certaines caravanes, la garniture sur le bord avant du revêtement extérieur pourrait ne pas être correctement fixée. Par conséquent, le revêtement métallique pourrait se détacher de la caravane. Risques pour la sécurité : Un revêtement qui se détacherait de la caravane pourrait créer un risque de blessure. Un revêtement qui se détacherait d'un véhicule en mouvement pourrait créer un danger pour les autres usagers de la route et augmenter le risque d'un accident. Mesures correctives : Forest River doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur caravane chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter le revêtement et le faire réparer ou remplacer au besoin.
