The issue
Issue: On a small number of motorhomes, the 120 V wiring to the roof air conditioner could be damaged by contact with the roof frame. This could cause a short circuit or electrical arcing (sparks). Safety Risk: A short circuit or electrical arcing could create the risk of a fire or injury. Corrective Actions: Triple E will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to inspect the 120 V wiring to the air conditioner. A grommet will be installed and the wiring will be repaired, if necessary.

Problème : Sur un petit nombre d'autocaravanes, le câblage 120 V du climatiseur de toit pourrait être endommagé par contact avec le cadre du toit. Cela pourrait provoquer un court-circuit ou produire des arcs électriques (étincelles). Risques pour la sécurité : Un court-circuit ou un arc électrique pourrait créer un risque d'incendie ou de blessure. Mesures correctives : Triple E doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur autocaravane chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter le câblage 120 V du climatiseur.
