The issue

Issue: On certain motorhomes, the housing for the retractable awning's gearbox motor could crack. As a result, the awning could extend on its own while driving. Safety Risk: An awning that extends while driving could create a road hazard and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to add additional support to the housing for the retractable awning's gearbox motor.

Problème : Sur certaines autocaravanes, le boîtier du moteur de l'auvent rétractable pourrait se fissurer. Par conséquent, l'auvent pourrait se déployer par lui-même durant la conduite. Risques pour la sécurité : Le déploiement d'un auvent pendant la conduite peut poser un danger routier et augmenter le risque d'accident. Mesures correctives : Forest River doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur autocaravane chez un concessionnaire pour renforcer le boîtier du moteur de l'auvent rétractable.
