The issue
Issue: On certain motorcycles, the front fork cap threads may become stripped and could separate. If this happens, there could be a sudden change in handling. Note: This recall only affects certain motorcycles with a 660cc engine. Safety Risk: A sudden change in handling could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Triumph will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the front fork caps.

Problème : Sur certaines motocyclettes, le filetage des capuchons de fourche avant pourrait s'endommager et se séparer. Si cela se produisait, il pourrait y avoir un changement soudain dans la conduite de la motocyclette. Remarque : Ce rappel ne concerne que certaines motocyclettes équipées d'un moteur de 660 cm3. Risque pour la sécurité : Un changement soudain de la conduite pourrait causer une perte de contrôle et augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Triumph doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur motocyclette chez un concessionnaire pour faire remplacer les capuchons de fourche avant.
