The issue

Issue: On a small number of motorhomes, the nut for the 12 V main disconnect switch may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the nut could loosen and cause a short circuit or electrical arcing (sparks). Safety Risk: A short circuit or electrical arcing can create the risk of a fire or injury. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to replace the 12 V main disconnect.

Problème : Sur un petit nombre d'autocaravanes, l'écrou de l'interrupteur de déconnexion principal de 12 V pourrait avoir été mal serré. Par conséquent, l'écrou pourrait se desserrer et causer un court-circuit ou un arc électrique (étincelles). Risques pour la sécurité : Un court-circuit ou un arc électrique pourraient créer un risque d'incendie ou de blessure. Mesures correctives : Forest River doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur autocaravane chez un concessionnaire afin de faire serrer l'écrou de l'interrupteur de déconnexion principal de 12 V.
