The issue

Issue: On certain trucks, a problem with the steering column control module could cause a turn signal not to turn off after signaling and completing a turn. Safety Risk: Turn signals that stay on after making a turn or changing lanes could create confusion for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the steering column control module.

Problème : Sur certains camions, un problème au niveau du module de commande de la direction pourrait faire en sorte qu'un clignotant ne éteigne pas après un virage. Risques pour la sécurité : Des clignotants qui restent allumés après un virage ou un changement de voie pourraient créer de la confusion pour les autres usagers de la route et accroître le risque d'accident. Mesures correctives : FCA Canada doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur camion chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter et, au besoin, remplacer le module de commande de la direction.
