The issue

Issue: On one truck, the warning light for the antilock brake system (ABS) may not turn on if there's a problem with the trailer's ABS system. Safety Risk: A warning light that doesn't turn on could cause you not to be aware of a problem with the ABS. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: A Volvo Trucks dealer has already repaired the affected truck by updating the electronic braking control unit software.

Problème : Sur un camion, le témoin d'avertissement du système de freinage antiblocage (ABS) pourrait ne pas s'allumer s'il y a un problème avec le système ABS de la remorque Risques pour la sécurité : Un témoin d'avertissement qui ne s'allume pas peut faire en sorte que le conducteur ne sache pas qu'il y a un problème d'ABS. Cela peut augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Un concessionnaire Volvo Trucks a déjà réparé le camion touché en mettant à jour le logiciel de l'unité de commande électronique du freinage.
