The issue
Issue: On certain vehicles, the cover for the passenger knee airbag may become loose over time. If this happens, the airbag could start to unfold. This could cause the knee airbag not to inflate properly in a crash. Safety Risk: An airbag that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Land Rover will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the passenger knee airbag.

Problème : Sur certains véhicules, le couvercle du coussin gonflable pour les genoux du passager pourrait se desserrer avec le temps. Si cela se produisait, le coussin gonflable pourrait commencer à se déplier. Cela pourrait empêcher le coussin gonflable pour les genoux de se gonfler adéquatement lors d'un accident. Risques pour la sécurité : Un coussin gonflable qui ne fonctionne pas correctement pourrait augmenter les risques de blessures en cas d'accident. Mesures correctives : Land Rover doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur véhicule chez un concessionnaire pour faire remplacer le coussin gonflable pour les genoux du passager.
