The issue

Issue: On certain vehicles, the owner's manual may include the wrong instructions for how to adjust the left and right-rear head restraints. Canadian regulations require this information be included in the owner's manual. Safety Risk: Incorrect instructions for how to adjust head restraints could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and provide you with an owner's manual insert with the correct instructions for how to adjust the left and right-rear head restraints.

Problème : Sur certains véhicules, le manuel du propriétaire pourrait donner les mauvaises directives pour le réglage des appuie-tête arrière gauche et droit. La réglementation canadienne exige que cette information figure dans le manuel du propriétaire. Risques pour la sécurité : Des mauvaises directives pour régler les appuie-tête pourraient accroître le risque de blessure en cas d'accident. Mesures correctives : General Motors doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur fournir un encart pour le manuel du propriétaire contenant les bonnes directives pour le réglage des appuie-tête arrière gauche et droit.
