The issue

Issue: On certain motorcycles, the rear axle shaft could break. If this happens, there could be a loss of control. Safety Risk: A loss of control could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ducati will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the rear axle shaft and bearings.

Problème : Sur certaines motocyclettes, l'arbre de l'essieu arrière pourrait se briser. Si cela se produisait, il pourrait y avoir une perte de contrôle. Risques pour la sécurité : Une perte de contrôle pourrait accroître le risque d'accident. Mesures correctives : Ducati doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur motocyclette chez un concessionnaire pour faire remplacer l'arbre et les roulements de l'essieu arrière.
