The issue

Issue: On a small number of motorhomes, the wrong 35 A fuse for the waste tank macerator may have been installed. As a result, the fuse could overheat and melt. Additionally, the fuse holder may not have been installed properly and cause the fuse holder diagram not to match. Safety Risk: A fuse that overheats can create the risk of a fire. An incorrect fuse holder diagram could lead you to install the wrong fuse and create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: REV Group will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the 35 A fuse, fuse holder and diagram.

Problème : Sur un petit nombre d'autocaravanes, le mauvais fusible de 35 A pour le broyeur du réservoir à eaux usées pourrait avoir été installé. Par conséquent, le fusible pourrait surchauffer et fondre. De plus, le porte-fusible pourrait ne pas avoir été installé correctement et faire en sorte que le schéma du porte-fusible ne corresponde pas. Risques pour la sécurité : Un fusible qui surchauffe peut créer un risque d'incendie. Un schéma de porte-fusible incorrect pourrait mener à installer le mauvais fusible et créer un risque d'incendie. Mesures correctives : REV doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur autocaravane chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter et, au besoin, faire remplacer le fusible de 35 A, le porte-fusible et le schéma.
