The issue

Issue: Under certain conditions, the lane keeping assist (LKA) feature of the advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) may not work properly. As a result, the steering wheel could move unexpectedly and/or the steering wheel movements may be difficult to override. Safety Risk: An advanced driver assistance system that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of a crash if the driver doesn't intervene. Corrective Actions: VinFast reminds that LKA is only an ADAS feature, and that the driver must pay attention and be ready to take control at all times when the feature is engaged. VinFast will notify owners by email and advise you to take your vehicle to a VinFast authorized service center to update the ADAS software.

Problème : Dans certaines conditions, l'assistance au maintien de voie du système avancé d'aide à la conduite pourrait ne pas fonctionner correctement. Par conséquent, le volant pourrait tourner soudainement et/ou les mouvements du volant pourraient être difficiles à contrer. Risques pour la sécurité : Un système avancé d'aide à la conduite qui ne fonctionne pas correctement pourrait augmenter le risque d'accident si le conducteur n'intervient pas. Mesures correctives : VinFast rappelle que l'assistance au maintien de voie n'est qu'une fonction du système avancé d'aide à la conduite, et que le conducteur doit rester attentif et prêt à prendre le contrôle à tout moment lorsque la fonction est activée. VinFast doit aviser les propriétaires par courriel et leur demander d'amener leur véhicule à un centre de service autorisé de VinFast pour faire mettre à jour le logiciel du système avancé d'aide à la conduite.
