The issue

Issue: On certain motorhomes, the paddle latch for the liquid propane (LP) compartment doors may lock on its own. As a result, the doors may not be able to be opened. Safety Risk: Compartment doors that can't be opened could delay access to the LP system in an emergency and increase the risk of fire and/or injury. Corrective Actions: REV Group will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the paddle latch.

Problème : Sur certaines autocaravanes, le verrou à palette des portes du compartiment de propane liquide (LP) pourrait se verrouiller par lui-même. Par conséquent, les portes pourraient ne pas s'ouvrir. Risques pour la sécurité : Des portes de compartiment qui ne peuvent pas être ouvertes pourraient retarder l'accès au système de propane liquide en cas d'urgence et augmenter les risques d'incendie et/ou de blessures. Mesures correctives : REV Group doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur autocaravane chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter et, au besoin, remplacer le verrou à palette.
