The issue

Issue: On certain motorcycles, a software problem in the engine control unit (ECU) could cause the engine to stall at low engine RPMs. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to update the ECU software.

Problème : Sur certaines motocyclettes, un problème logiciel du module de commande du moteur (ECU) pourrait faire caler le moteur à bas régime. Risques pour la sécurité : Une perte soudaine de puissance du moteur pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : La compagnie doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur motocyclette chez un concessionnaire pour faire mettre à jour le logiciel de l'ECU.
