The issue

Issue: On certain school buses, the power cable for the air conditioning control board may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the cable could loosen and overheat. Note: This recall only affects certain school buses equipped with a Spheros ceiling-mounted air conditioning system. Safety Risk: Wiring that overheats could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Micro Bird will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your school bus to a dealership to secure the air conditioning control board power cable.

Problème : Sur certains autobus scolaires, le câble d'alimentation pour le panneau de commande d'air climatisé pourrait ne pas avoir été serré correctement. Par conséquent, le câble pourrait se desserrer et surchauffer. Remarque : Ce rappel concerne seulement certains autobus équipés d'un système d'air climatisé Spheros monté au plafond. Risques pour la sécurité : Un câblage qui surchauffe pourrait créer un risque d'incendie. Mesures correctives : Micro Bird doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur autobus scolaire chez un concessionnaire pour faire fixer le câble d'alimentation du panneau de commande d'air climatisé.
