The issue

Issue: On certain trucks, the relay for the tarp system may not have been installed properly. As a result, water could enter the relay and cause it to short circuit. Note: This recall only affects certain trucks equipped with a Roll-Rite tarp system. Safety Risk: A relay that short circuits could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Parts for Trucks will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to inspect and, if necessary, reinstall the tarp system relay.

Problème : Sur certains camions, le relais du système de toile pourrait ne pas avoir été installé correctement. Par conséquent, de l'eau pourrait s'infiltrer dans le relais et provoquer un court-circuit. Note : Ce rappel concerne seulement certains camions équipés d'un système de toile Roll-Rite. Risques pour la sécurité : Un relais qui subit un court-circuit pourrait créer un risque d'incendie. Mesures correctives : Parts for Trucks doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur fournir des instructions sur la façon d'inspecter et, au besoin, de réinstaller le relais du système de toile.
