The issue

Issue: On certain vehicles, the chrome plating on the center console could bubble and peel. If this happens, sharp edges can be created. Safety Risk: Exposed sharp edges can increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the center console.

Problème : Sur certains véhicules, le placage chromé de la console centrale pourrait former des bulles et s'écailler. Si cela se produisait, des bords tranchants pourraient se former. Risques pour la sécurité : Des bords tranchants exposés pourraient augmenter le risque de blessure. Mesures correctives : Ford doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur véhicule chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter et, au besoin, remplacer la console centrale.
