The issue

Issue: On certain motorcycles, the turn signal bulbs may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the bulb(s) could fail, and the turn signal(s) may not work. Safety Risk: Turn signals that don't work may cause a person not to recognize when the rider intends to turn or change lanes and could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Action: Kawasaki will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the turn signal bulbs.

Problème : Sur certaines motocyclettes, les ampoules des clignotants pourraient ne pas avoir été fabriquées correctement. Par conséquent, la ou les ampoules pourraient faire défaut, et le ou les clignotants pourraient ne pas fonctionner. Risques pour la sécurité : Des clignotants qui ne fonctionnent pas pourraient empêcher une personne de se rendre compte qu'un motocycliste a l'intention de tourner ou de changer de voie. Cela pourrait augmenter le risque d'accident. Mesure corrective : Kawasaki doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur motocyclette chez un concessionnaire pour remplacer les ampoules des clignotants.
