The issue

Issue: On a small number of trucks, a component inside the high-voltage battery may not be properly secured. As a result, the component could move and damage the high-voltage battery. Safety Risk: A damaged high-voltage battery can create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to replace the high-voltage battery.

Problème : Sur un petit nombre de camions, un composant situé à l'intérieur de la batterie haute tension pourrait ne pas être fixé correctement. Par conséquent, le composant pourrait se déplacer et endommager la batterie haute tension. Risques pour la sécurité : Une batterie haute tension endommagée peut créer un risque d'incendie. Mesures correctives : General Motors doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur camion chez un concessionnaire pour remplacer la batterie haute tension.
