The risk
The product poses a risk of injuries because on some vehicles the counter bore of the upper section of the steering column, at the connection to the universal joints, may not have been carried out correctly. Consequently, the steering function may be lost.
Product: The recall concerns vehicles with left hand drive, with chassis numbers from 128680 to 157545, from 1110399 to 1138196, single chassis numbers 24265 – 117935 – 121759 –1062184 – 1498344 (produced in Melfi plant) and from 105778 to 169447, from 1078325 to 1156208, from 2000001 to 2009229 and single chassis number 98964 (produced in Mirafiori plant).
