The risk
The product poses a risk of injuries because excessively long screws may have been included in the repair kits for securing the wheel flange and brake disc to the hub. As a result of insufficient pretensioning in the hub-brake disc-wheel flange interface, an oscillation fracture of the screws may occur, compromising the securing of the wheel in question.
Product: 8 194 vehicles worldwide (approx. 5 360 in Germany and 2 751 in the rest of Europe) manufactured between January 2004 and October 2005 are affected.
