The risk
The product poses a risk of injuries because, in the event of an accident in which the belt tensioners are triggered, the rear-side pillar trim can come loose at the front mounting. The trim would then move into the passenger compartment in an uncontrolled manner, causing an increased injury risk for both the front and the rear passengers.
Product: The vehicles concerned are of the model years 2007 and 2008 and have vehicle identification numbers in the following ranges: TRU???8J?71000102 to TRU???8J?71026630, TRU???8J?81000101 to TRU???8J?81001178.
