The risk
The product poses a risk of fire because road salt can corrode the outer surface of the fuel filter. In extreme cases, this may lead to the filter housing becoming porous with a corresponding fuel leak. Such a leak has the potential for combustion and fire.
Product: The recall concerns vehicles produced between 4 December 2003 and 18 March 2008.
