The risk
The products pose a risk of fire because the plastic fitting between the injector and hose on the affected motorcycles is warped or broken, resulting in fuel leakage from the fuel line at the injector end, thereby causing the risk of fire.
Product: The recall affects motorcycles with the following frame numbers for EU models:- 1198 and 1198 S from frame No. ZDMH705AA8B021336 to ZDMH704AA9B024977 manufactured on 29 April 2009;- 1098 R from frame No. ZDMH702AB8B021458 to ZDMH702AB9B024905; - 848 from frame No. ZDMH600AA9B009592 to ZDMH600AA9B010298 manufactured on 27 April 2009;- Streetfighter and Streetfighter S from frame No. ZDMF100AA8B000014 to ZDMF100AA9B001398 manufactured on 27 April 2009.
