An emission control component in euro VI step B and step C engines, used under certain conditions, could deteriorate more rapidly than expected and might cause the exhaust emissions' level of nitrogen oxides (NOx) to exceed regulated limits. Nitrogen oxides are harmful to human health and the environment.
