EU safety alerts
Safety Gate, the European Union's rapid alert system, names the Giulietta in 3 alerts. European versions can differ from the North American car.
The brake and clutch fluid contain mineral oil and may as a consequence damage certain components of the braking system and the clutch. As a result the braking and clutch systems may fail.
The Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) control unit is inadequate and can lead to the malfunction of the ABS functions. As a result, the wheels might lock in unexpected situations.
Due to a fault in the airbag propellant system, the second stage airbag might not deploy correctly or not deploy at all in the event of an accident.
