The issue

THE SUPPLIER OF THE FUEL CUT-OFF INERTIA SWITCH MADE UNAUTHORIZED CHANGES TO THE SWITCH CONTACTS. UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS A HIGH ELECTRICAL RESISTANCE AND OPEN CIRCUIT MAY RESULT, PREVENTING CURRENT FLOW TO THE FUEL PUMP.

Le fabricant a modifié sans autorisation les contacts de l'électrovanne de coupure du carburant. Sous certaines conditions, une résistance electrique élevée ou un circuit ouvert peuvent empêcher l'arrivée du courant à la pompe à essence.
