The issue

NOTE: M-VANS WITH 4.3 OR 2.5 LITRE ENGINE AND SCHOOL BUSES WITH 366 V-8 GAS ENGINE. VEHICLES MAY HAVE FUEL RETURN HOSES WHICH COULD BREAK AT THE CRIMPED COUPLING. COUPLING SEPARATION IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE COULD RESULT IN AN ENGINE COMPARTMENT FIRE. CORRECTION: A PROPERLY CRIMPED FUEL RETURN HOSE WILL BE INSTALLED ON AFFECTED VEHICLES.

Les conduites de retour de carburant peuvent se rompre au niveau de l'un des raccords sertis et provoquer une fuite. Il y aurait alors un risque d'incendie dans le compartiment moteur en présence d'une source d'inflammation.
